Rapid Restroom Sanitizing is a patent-pending method of cleaning a restroom with a Kaivac No-Touch Cleaning system in a chemical-free mode. It is predicated on the system’s soil removal capabilities which enable superior cleaning results without chemicals. In fact, the system cleans so well that it has been confirmed by an EPA-certified independent laboratory as a Sanitizing Device. This means that it reduces greater than 99.9% of targeted microbes on a surface when used as directed – without the use of chemicals.rnrnEliminating the chemical injection procedure and associated chemical dwell time enables a new high speed No-Touch Cleaning process that also greatly simplifies machine operation and training. In fact, time studies show that the already fast No-Touch Cleaning times can now be reduced by an additional 40-50 percent while delivering outstanding cleaning results. It is not only faster, but it also require less training for the operator than cleaning with chemicals. In addition to reduced cleaning time and labor costs, there is a significant savings in chemical costs that allow for a quick payback of the initial equipment cost.rnrnThe first step in the Rapid Restroom Sanitizing process is preparing the restroom. Begin by applying cleaning solution to touchpoints throughout the restroom like soap, towel, and toilet paper dispensers and door handles. As you make your way through the restroom, pick up any trash on the floor, and remove any trash cans from the restroom.rnrnNext, plug your No-Touch Cleaning system into the nearest receptacle, and ensure that the GFCI light is lit. Unwrap the pressure hose and turn on the pump.rnrnBeginning at the restroom entrance, lay out the pressure hose, making your way to the furthest point in the restroom. With the pressure gun in high pressure mode, turn the nozzle to get a fan spray and begin applying water to restroom fixtures working your way back to the restroom entrance.rnrnWhen you have reached the entrance, apply water to the floor, working your way towards the back of the restroom.rnrnNow, turn the nozzle to get a pinpoint spray and begin blast rinsing. Begin by rinsing the floor in front of the fixture, and then rinse the fixture from the top down. Blast rinsing the floor first allows you to rinse any soils that may have been sprayed onto the fixture.rnrnFor toilets, rinse the chrome supply pipe or tank, and the top of the toilet seat. Raise the seat, and blast rinse the bottom of the seat and the seat hinges. Next, insert the spray gun up and under the toilet rim for the rim shot and then scour the inside of the toilet bowl with the slam dunk. After the slam dunk, continue rinsing downward, cleaning the base of the toilet.rnrnContinue blast rinsing remaining fixtures, moving from the rear of the restroom to the entrance. When you reach the mirrors, you may blast rinse them and then squeegee the water from the mirrors.rnrnWhen all fixtures have been rinsed, return to the machine and turn the pump motor off. Release pressure from the hose by spraying the remaining water in the hose on the restroom floor. Then, wrap the pressure hose on the machine using the right-hand rule method.rnrnNext, connect the vac wand and squeegee head to the vac hose. Unwrap all of the vac hose from the machine and turn on the vac motor. Beginning at the restroom entrance, begin vacuuming the floor, working your way to the back of the restroom. This will ensure that you are always standing on a dry surface and will keep your vac hose dry and clean.rnrnOnce all water has been removed from the floor, return to the machine. With the vacuum motor still on, turn the vac wand to the up position and tap it remove any water or debris that may still be in the vac wand. Remove the vac wand from the vac hose and store it on the machine. Now, wrap the vac hose, then turn the vac motor off. Unplug the Kaivac and wrap the electrical cord.rnrnReturn to the restroom and wipe any touchpoints you applied chemical to. Finally, replace the trash cans and re-stock items as needed.rnrnRapid Restroom Sanitizing with your Kaivac No-Touch Cleaning system will save you time and money while delivering clean, healthy restrooms.
