Ebola and Enterovirus-68 Information: Currently, there is no disinfectant that has been tested in labs specifically against Ebola or Enterovirus-68. However, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has found that EPA-registered disinfectants that are effective against Norovirus, like KaiBosh™, are among those that are recommended on environmental surfaces in rooms of patients with suspected or confirmed Ebola or Enterovirus-68 infections.       Disinfect and Clean in one step

      KaiBosh is a concentrated no-rinse Hospital Use disinfectant cleaner that disinfects and cleans in one labor saving step. Its  phosphate-free formulation effectively cleans and disinfects areas of importance in controlling  cross-contamination. It is a complete chemically balanced non-acid disinfectant/sanitizer that rinses freely, leaving behind no grit or soap scum. KaiBosh cleans, shines and disinfects hard non-porous, non-finished* surfaces and may be applied through Kaivac No-Touch Cleaning™ systems, spray bottles, automatic washing systems, immersion tanks, foaming apparatus and low-pressure sprayers.


      “Killer” Cleaner

      Designed as a one-step disinfectant cleaner, KaiBosh is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria. It is virucidal (including AIDS, Norwalk/Norovirus, Hepatitis B and C, Avian/Bird Flu, and more) while inhibiting bacterial growth on moist surfaces. Able to cut through grease and grime, it doubles as an excellent cleaner that leaves restrooms, kitchens, and other areas fresh smelling and free of contaminants.

      Virucidal Performance:

      At 2 ounces per gallon use level (703 ppm active quat), this product was evaluated in the presence of 5% serum with a 10 minute contact time and found to be effective against the following viruses on hard non-porous environmental surfaces:

      • Avian influenza A H9N2/Turkey/Wisconsin virus
      • Avian Reovirus
      • Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus
      • Canine Distemper
      • Canine Coronavirus
      • Equine Arteritis Virus

      At 2.5 ounces per gallon use level, this product is found to be effective against the following viruses on hard, non-porous environmental surfaces in the presence of 5% serum with a 10 minute contact time:

      • Feline Infectious Peritonitis
      • Feline leukemia virus

      At 8 ounces per gallon use level (or equivalent dilution), this product wasevaluated in the presence of 5% serum with a 10-minutes contact time andfound to be effective against the following viruses on hard, non-porous environmental surfaces:

      • Canine Parvovirus (CPV)
      • Minute virus of Mice (Parvovirus)
      • Porcine Parvovirus


      Bactericidal Performance:

      Add 2 ounces of this product to one gallon of water (703 ppm active quat). Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. At this use level, this product is bactericidal according to the AOAC Use Dilution Test method on hard inanimate surfaces modified in the presence of 5% organic serum against:

      • Campylobacter jejuni
      • Corynebacterium ammoniagenes
      • Enterobacter aerogenes
      • Enterococcus faecalis
      • Escherichia coli
      • Klebsiella pneumoniae
      • Listeria monocytogenes
      • Pseudomonas aeruginosa
      • Salmonella choleraesuis
      • Salmonella schottmuelleri
      • Salmonella typhi
      • Shigella dysenteriae
      • Staphylococcus aureus
      • Staphylococcus aureus (Methicillin resistant)
      • Streptococcus salivarius


      Fungicidal Performance:

      • Aspergillus niger
      • Trichophyton mentagrophytes
